Madonna - 27th Years in 4 Minutes

My friend Melvin just posted this on Facebook and as I sat there for the four minute duration of the video, I thought of how we're all goo-goo over Gaga right now (because the girl is brilliant) but how much of a trailblazer and pioneer Madonna really has been and the impact, mark and legacy she's leaving on pop culture. I'm a conflicted Madonna fan, some things I revere and some things I can't stand. When I love, I love deeply, and when I hate, I apply the same intensity. This video encapsulates the best moments of this great icon and the many faces, looks, and characters she became and left behind.

Apparently Russian Roulette was a promo leak - although we've posted and there have been a few good mixes already fixed for that. She did mean it when she titled her last album Good Girl Gone Bad, and now she's living and proving it. With having shed light on her personal life via the Diane Sawyer interview, now she's gonna hit Hard with the new album Rated R. It's the next step on da RihannaTakeOver.

Lady Gaga - Bad Romance Video

After much hype the video has been released to a frenzy of fans who eagerly awaited this as much as they're awaiting the video to her collabo with Beyonce. With more budget comes better quality, and for this video the ante has been upped once more; she continues to outdo herself and that's what we expect from her. The cinematography, the effects, the products, the colors, the styling, the conceptualization is exquisite and brilliant. After the VMA performance she's really set the bar high for showmanship and performance art in motion. Bad Romance is dipped in awesomesauce and deep fried in fantastic!
